Removing the rear door outer trim

Post by wattg » Tue Apr 19, 2011 3:16 pm

Hi Guys

Has anyone removed the outer trim on the rear door from their Bongo. I am currently working round the van attending to any rusty bits and I have found a piece of rust which goes under the bottom lip of the trim. I intend to remove the trim to get right in and sand out the rust and paint a new. So if anyone has any tips or instructions on removing the trim it would be much appreciated

There are a couple of plastic nuts at the edges of the tailgate these have to come off, also there may be a few screws under the inner panel. I almost took it off my breaker but managed to just loosen it to remove what I needed.
