changing a stereo

Post by Big L » Fri Apr 15, 2011 9:21 pm

My stereo has just deceided to stop working. CD works fine but cant get radio stations.

I have tried an alternative aerial but still no radio, so I think the system is history.

As im selling my bongo I dont want to fork out for an expensive system but can anyone tell me if there are any special issues to consider when changing the stereo of is it simply swap the cables over? The existing stereo was fitted in the UK on import.

Im considering a cheap Alba from Argos.

Any suggestions or comments would be great

Yeah just buy a cheapo one. If you've already got a UK radio in it will probably have the standard wiring in so they should all fit. Easy job.
