Tackeroo 3 - Sunday 17th April 2011

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Possibly not.

Gearbox has turned into a bucket of spanners.

I may be off the road for quite a while this time.

  Oh noooooo, not good, seems you've had to deal with continual problems :( I know you helped us so much get thru the troubles we had at the beginning and I so nearly gave up on the bongoing. Thanks to you and your support we didn't and have met so many good friends. Hoping it's not too bad and you're not off the road for too long.

Meself & Mrs M may well still make it on the bike but will need some suitable sleeping space.

Any offers??

We've got a pop up quecha tent with an inner sleeping awning if that helps, but from what I understand you're not supposed to put tents up. If you want to do it I'll make sure we bring the sleeping inner bit?

Can also bring a self inflating mattress if you need, but don't have any spare bedding :)

Just been reading this, pm Muz and see how often the wardens come round? Put the tent up later after they've gone?

There you go Mr Munkey :) Let me know if you want us to bring the inner bit for sleeping. We're taking the base tent anyway, but won't bother with the inner bit if you're not going to use it :)

Cheers kids, bring as much as you can.

The best they can do is to try & chuck us out but I can be quite scary in full battle leather gear.

Bring it on!!

Chris,200 miles from home to the welsh daffy meet in 50 mins at 120 miles an hour.....could that be the cause??

Sorry youve got more problems, more reason to drink £1200 of local brew in turkey

Sorry sir, incorrect data.

151 miles on a Friday night in 1hr 58 mins, an average of about 75mph, mostly on motorways (but some of the twisties on the last 40 miles were mega fun!!)

I won't deny that I screw the gonads out of the Bongo when ness but i genuinely don't believe that just one thrash could kill the gearbox. [-X

Despite the abuse I subject mine to, it gets several major doses of love all the time, in theory the two should balance out!!

Despite the fact that I bought an abused Lemon 4 years ago for a (cheap  ) £2995, I've spent well over £6000 since

Even so, I seem to be slowly working through replacing all the fourteen year old parts that have had very little attention prior to my ownership.

Its only a matter of time before mine is one of the newest old boys on the road!! :)
