Does anyone have an idea how tricky it is to fit a new clutch - or the cost of having it done by a garage?

Where are you based Terry - there are some very decently priced Bongo mechanics (its always going to be cheaper if you can find a good independent mechanic familiar with Bongos), depending on where you live.TerryG wrote:Does anyone have an idea how tricky it is to fit a new clutch - or the cost of having it done by a garage?

I'm near Tonbridge, Kent. A heads up on local specialists would be very welcome!

Is the Bongo driveable? If so, there are good ones in South Croydon and in Lewisham I think. I can't remember their names but have a search on here or consult the recommended garages list in the members area (assuming you are a member - cheap, and worth it I think just to show support for this forum etc.) .TerryG wrote:I'm near Tonbridge, Kent. Good luck

It would probably cost aprox £350/400 for a 3 part clutch fitted.
Cheers..
