Our remaining photos....
umbongocat Enjoys the cable car.....

... up to the caves

umbongochris has had enough of caves.....

misty views

spot the bongo

Muz + cake

Cake

Vicky wasn't expecting a cake as well...

3 women blowing in my bongo

balloons and Debbie

umbongochris loopyloo and debbiepritch and balloons...

Baloons sneakily attached to oldboybobs bongo....

Muz cooking breakfast in his birthday pressie

The next day it was sunny so we went out, 2 things I should say... *
1) you are allowed down that road
2) I am not doing anything to the plants, I'm just standing there...

* none of the above statements are true...
The bongo, no, you're not supposed to drive up here making all the walkers and cyclists get out of your way...

Yes chris, you're lost and that is a map of france....

a bongo on a bridge.

So if you ignore the "road closed" sign, and just drive through looking daft you get to see pretty things.....

Thanks to the Bulwell Bongoleers for organising this and nice to finally chat to you
We had a cracking weekend meeting new friends and getting abuse off old ones
Here’s a few of my pics, didn’t take that many this time

I blame this sign for me getting lost...least I didn’t go through Stockport tho

We had a lovely walk into Bakewell

And we were a bit bemused by the English having half doors

Ooh but half can be good

A few pics of bongos

Park on the campsite where I lost Wayne all weekend

The birthday boy, Penblwydd Hapus Muz

Get blowing Umbongochris

We had a lovely drive home

English sheep look much the same as welsh

Emergency stop....I’m starving !!!!

And a tea break and tyre inflation at hembramacho’s, ty guys...lucky I called

Then back to the A55 thankfully going the right way....

It only took me 3 hours to get back...well 6 hours with stops and collecting chinese on the way back
and this time I went south on the A55
Thanks again all for a fab weekend
happy days and happy memories

Exactly what we did, walking or cycling is good but only if you've half a day to do it inumbongochris wrote:...so if you ignore the "road closed" sign, and just drive through looking daft you get to see pretty things.....

Just claim to be lost tourists if challenged, ¿eh amigo?

Hi Everyone
Thanks for a fantastic weekend and for making us feel welcome.

(Oh, and also thanks to Mandy and Andy for the great photo of our Bongo - hope you don't mind but it's that good we've used it as our avatar!
