Hi all,
Have had our Freda for over 2 years now and have almost finished our own conversion, so thought we would show you our insides. Hope the pictures upload.
Not quite finished yet need to put flooring in and fit the Rock and Roll but nearly done.

Very smart. What's the panneling made of?

Thanks for the comments. Still a bit to do but nearly there, needs bed, lights and floor, also need to finish of the electric hook up. The panelling is MDF, I know I should have used the lightweight ply but found it so expensive. Plus you then need to buy various cutters etc to give it that professional look so just couldnt justify the extra cost. Have kept the weight down every where else by using ply so its only the panels you see that are MDF. Will post the finished article as soon as its complete.

That's exactly what I did too - ply carcass, MDF outer panels.
Have you applied a finish to the MDF?

Ahhh. That's why it doesn't look like MDF any more!
Cracking job.

Rock and Roll bed arrived today, bed width 38" with elbow room of approx 42" plus the little cubby hole/drinks holder. So should be just enough room for and comfy night. Happy days

Very nice. I'll be going down a similar non-lightweight ply route while still trying to keep the weight down.
