Front Fog Lights....

Post by PaulF » Fri Feb 25, 2011 5:35 pm

Hi Bongo people,
Has anyone any clues as to why our front fog lights would suddenly not be working? not the fuse or bulbs! (it still passed its MOT though!)

Search Fog Lights and you should find a thread regarding a dodgy connector under the battery carrier. I read it some time ago but funnily enough I haven't got round to opening the bonnet yet. Main beam works wonders!!!!

Not sure how yours are wired.
My problem was the inline fuse had melted inside, it looked ok visually and the fuse was ok.
No power getting through the holder, it was a jap add-on system.
If it is wired direct to the battery check the earth terminal is still connected and making a good contact, this was the problem with my rear fogs.
