can anyone tell me the internal diameter of the coolant hose under the
drivers seat from the side of the engine to the bottom
heater pipe?

as i understand your question,you are after the dia of the over the starter motor hose????.
this goes from the back of the engine,drivrs side, down to the rear heater.
this measures 16mm internal,24mm external, 4mm wall thickness.
measured off old gen mazda hose.

be careful when you remove this hose at the heater end, if you suspect any corosion in the system, the place where this joins near the heater is known to corrode quite badly as its open to the elements.

Just ordered a new one for tomorrow delivery........ mine has a hole at the block end on the "soft" non reinforced part....... fortunately I had noticed a slight drop in coolant level from normal...and decided to check out for a pinhole leak during level checks......then with engine running..... away "she" erupted .......from a pin hole....
