If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

This allows for 54 seats. If we need any more than that - Tough!!

All that sunshine we had! Still don't quite understand how we ended up with a big puddle of water in the fire LOL

Our base tent still stinks of the fire... couldn't get it closer if we had tried :P

Hmmm, 40 pitches x average 3 per Bongo = 2 carriages minimum

Alternatively, we could mobilise some Bongos to take the rest and think of the photo opportunities
a. from the train of a convoy of Bongos in stunning countryside
b. from the Bongos of a bunch of nutters hanging out of the windows of a narrow-gauge train

Mmmm now reconsidering this meet as I may not be able to get to Southern Softies the week after. How many have booked so far? Last count on 9 October was 21 out of 40. I was wondering if I could leave it till later before deciding.... [-o<

There's a good discounted rate for group bookings at Portmeirion...

http://www.portmeirion-village.com/cont ... D=72;lID=1

...as long as only one payment is made. This has got to be a plan

Some pricing detail for the train part...

http://www.welshhighlandrailway.net/fares.htm

...one child free, additional children half fare. Train could be expensive (hopefully discounted) but a breathtaking trip
