Fuel Warning Light?

Post by sharkies » Tue Aug 10, 2010 10:50 pm

I have a '97 P reg. Freda SGL5F but can't get a manual for it just yet. I am new to it and just about to go on a long journey. Can anyone tell me if this model has a 'Fuel Warning Light' or is it just the gauge?

Nope. Later ones have a light.

Welcome to the world of Fuel Gauge Roulette.

Mine hits the E at around 200 miles/360k but will drop well below that with at least 3 gallons left. But no two are the same . . .

Can give you some hairy late night moments though!!

Hi
Best not peer in the filler with a lighted match if you think you're low on fuel.....it has caught folks by surprise         ....and, children....don't try that at home
Cheers

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
