Fuel filter

Post by Terry T » Tue Aug 22, 2006 7:31 pm

I bought a filter kit for my Bongo, the air and oil ones were fine, the diesel one is completely different. My existing one has an electronic level sensor with a drain. The new one has a smaller bolt through hole and no place for the sensor.
Has anyone come across this before?

There is a black rubber O ring which goes on the bottom .
Hope you find this of help.

It should have quite a big hole in the bottom & a new O-ring seal for the sensor. Should look a bit like this:

If not, sounds like the wrong part has been supplied.

Thanks for your replies, but this filter with the same serial number is the one that has been supplied and certainly isn't the one in my Bongo!!!!!!!!!
If I knew how to show you some snap shots i would![/img]
