NZ places, scenery that have been visited by Bertie Bongo

Gidaye , Hoping this post will generate some interest about places all Bongo owners have been to.
I'll get Steve to post my pics (hopefully) until I learn the "how to do things."
First scenes are on a trip to Lake Moana and after returning from Chiristchurch via Otira
Cheers
Deano

Look forward to some more.

Might be better if you post the rest to the Fancy Meeting Up & Bongo Trips section, as that's where most people put their inspirational trip piccies :D (http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... m.php?f=37)

I'm suprised the kia didn't eat bits of your Bongo !
I've seen them strip the chrome trim and window rubbers out of cars before now

Beautiful place.... post more pics please, just to make me jealous.

Hi Chris
You're mistaking that critter for the I- kea...which strips your wallet in exchange for cheap furniture that you even have to make yourself!

During our travel's in Australia in 2006 we stayed on Ellis Beach in North Queensland and as you can see on opening our curtains the beach was no more than 10 yard's behind us and to top it off most of all the sight of wild Dolphins swimming by. :D

A truly memorable place, infact so memorable we went back the following year. :D :D :D

Unfortunatly this Hiace is only made for the Southern Hemisphere :( , I must agree we really loved it too. It was a very nice smooth drive and very comfortable. :D

I wondered why we had never seen one of those high bonnet line HiAces over here.

At first I thought whats a Toyota Dandemann. Then I realized.

I like it too. In Nepal last year these new Hiace run as taxis and Nepal is Northern Hemisphere. I also believe this is the newer Hiace style in Japan. So it would be as easy to import to UK as a Bongo. If you were really keen you could import one from Australia as well. Maybe I will look into this in a few years time. Its the long wheel base that I like.

I stand corrected about availability in the Northern Hemisphere, I was going off what I was told when I enquired about having one in the UK. :)
