Re: South West New Year Meet
Only a bit interested at the moment, as Zigi is not back at work yet and we don't know what his hours will be over New Year. Will be able to make a decision once he gets back to work and they've re-done the rosters in his honour!! All being well, that will be mid-August some time. Are non-Bongo folk allowed?

Sounds good Dave, have you checked that the pub is alright about kids coming in. Would be abit of a problem for us, if you know what I mean. Hope you are both well

Hi egor, thank you so much for all the info, it's great to have someone with local knowledge. We stayed at the site a few years ago but only briefly. It is a lovely area and we were very impressed with the site.

Re: South West New Year Meet
Hi Chris, i've had a PM from egor617 an he has told me that their are a couple more pubs in the area and they are children friendly.
The Lethbridge Arms at West Bagborough and The Rising Sun Inn at Bishops Lydeard.
He has also offered his services as a guide for either a full day or half days drive showing us the local area.
He has suggested a drive to Exmoor and see if anyone can spot the wild Exmoor ponies, then onto the Exmoor Falconary,
Or a drive through the Quantocks then onto Exmoor endng up at Woolacombe.
Plus he has aready told us of the Winter Steam Festival at the West Somerset Steam Railway on the 29/30 December.
It looks like this could turn out to be a terrific meet.

Hi all, just to keep you up to date, i've managed to get the entertainment sorted for New Year at no extra cost. It's a fellow
bongolier and he has agreed to bring his stage setup, lights, amps, mics, etc etc.
It's gonna be a good night,
Dave
