Yep that's the problem....... End of Term..... and were off for the 1st week....

But on a positive note, this is a test run I believe so potentially there may be more great events to follow ??

Jayne is holding a workshop during the day (Sat) for conquering fear through hypnosis and this would be £10 instead of thirty which will be the price for anyone else. Light lunch will be provided and refreshments at break times for those attending.

Would love to have come, might have helped with my fear of sleeping in the roof of the Bongo

Now Then.

Meself & Mrs M bobbed over to the farm yesterday with SD to check it out a little more. To say we were absolutely Gobsmacked would be something of an understatement.

The location is spot on. Well out of the way but still accessible. The people are fantastic, the whole place is bubbling with enthusiasm & laughter. Even the breakfast this morning was magnificent.

This meet, although likely to be small in numbers promises to be legendary & certainly the first of many to be held here.



So - Heres the lowdown.



By the farmhouse is a paddock with a decent field of maybe half an acre or so above it which we're going to use as Bongo Base Camp. They have a fairly hefty generator which will be set up to allow about 5 leccy hook ups, the rest of us will have to make do. I reckon theres enough room for about 15 Bongos, allowing space for awnings etc but theres always room to squeeze another couple in if ness.


Below the paddock is the piece de resistance - The Party Shed!





Peter & Jayne who run the place have sorted a band for the saturday night to do an accoustic set but that may evolve into something bigger.

We got up early this morning & introduced ourselves to the lovely hens living in the woods & they sorted out some supplies for our breakfast.



There's another huge bit of land at the back that could easily take 50 plus vans for future meets.



Oh and a few of these too



Horse riding FOC if you know what you're doing but the lovely Helen can give lessons to kids or grown ups for a reasonable charge.

Mrs M will no doubt be happier riding one of these though.





I can see this becoming a bit of a regular party place for us & something of an east coast Silverdale, so those that can't make this one - fear not. we're already planning the next.
