Help needed roof tent issue,,

Hi guys need a bit of your advice of late my roof wont go to its stop position it goes all the way to the top but wont stop bleeping untill i give it the extra shuv to the last inch or so then bleep stops,, is ther anything that needs adjusting to reset the stop position? many thanks barrington,

Try unzipping the tent front a little before you lower it. It helps to expel the air, but it also means that there's a slightly less strain when you open it next time.

A bit of lube on the moving bits may help too.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

so guys what actually causes it?, its only just started doing it, is there any over run on the runners i can adjust,

tent fabric being stiff after a long cold winter? mechanism needs lubing therefore a bit more friction for the motors to overcome? motors getting a bit older?

I.m sure technical adjustments are available but in the early stages of Middle Aged Sticky Roof Syndrome the spray works for me,

I think one or two have found a microswitch has moved slightly? A search may find an answer :wink:
