BAD SHAKING CONTINUES!!!

Ok, I took the bongo down to the coast at the weekend and the shake is as bad as ever the whole van is shaking am worried something is going to break and me and the family are going to end up on the roof, or worse. I have now:
  • Balanced all wheels
    Added sprigots, which fitted perfectly
    Checked power steering fluid, fine
    Check for bumps on tyres.
Now what? Ok, going to put it in the garage, it has to be one of 2 things, really cheap and badly made alloys? or something mechanical. Has anyone got any advice what I could ask my mechanic to check first?

Cheers all.

pick a quiet piece of road, get up to wobble speed and gently apply the brakes,if it can be felt through the peddle it is likely to point to warpped discs as you say the wheels have been balanced.it could also be dirt behind the disc holding it off its mount, running out of true, remove and clean.

Badly balanced wheels? Wheel bearings? wishbones? steering rack joints?
Did you try swapping wheels around?

No I didn't try swapping wheels around. Would this maybe make a difference?

It would help you rule out the wheels, assuming all 4 arent out!

In my old Land Rover owning days you could get similar symptoms from a knacked prop - is yours 4x4?

We had this problen on our 2WD Freda and after failing the MOT for wishbone problems and getting them fixed the vibration went away.
