UV Light & Dye - Where to buy.

Post by chalky » Sun May 16, 2010 10:30 pm

Hi,

Could someone tell where I can buy the right UV dye (and quantity thereof) and the matching UV light to do a UV leak test of the cooling system on my Bongo.

I puchased the ingrediants off the internet the other day and it didn't work. Not even when I held the light to the header tank which was full of dye. I guess I got it wrong.

Out of interest, how much liquid is in the cooling system?

Thanks

Joel

think its 13/14 litres
or you could do a air pressure test and save your money.

Crickey, that much. No wonder my test didnt work, the small bottle of dye I bought was meant for 3 litres max. Doh!
