You could just pop in for a visit, meet peeps. Some one said plenty of parking outside.dext924 wrote:hey guys (and girls!)
Just found out about this meet, as I am new to the club. Might be a bit late for me to get down this weekend, do you have any future events or meets planned?

Thanks
You'll find plenty of info on the forum.

Re: 2010 "Southern Softies"
Got back an hour or so ago from visiting the site, too many people to catch up with, great to see everyone, fantastic weather so far.
A few piccies (camera phone playing up, so didn't get many
)
It's a Mazda honest
- but who is the driver?

Freewheeler even brought a birdbath

Freewheeler (Bob), Binbongoed (Geoff & Carol) & Jaylee (Jamie & Sandy)

Chris & his bongo - not for much longer

Bob and Sue

Bexley Boy's bongo

A few Eribas as there's an Eriba rally on at the same time

Pitch 92 if you get time

Re: 2010 "Southern Softies"
Would just like to how nice it was meeting up with old and new faces today.
Had a lovely day. Had a great pub lunch by the river, with Franco, little bit breezy but lovely all the same.
A big thank you to John and Andrew for sorting out my Kyham pole problem, will now be selling or swapping for something smaller, that i can manage on my own.

Got home at silly oclock this morning from visiting again, drove home though a rain storm, hope everyone didn't get too wet
At least it was 1-2am, so hopefully dried out by today. Great to see everyone, never enough time to catch up properly, too many people, not enough time.
Sorry again to Maxheadroom for not ignoring you initially
just thought you were one of Jaylee's roadies

Kept forgetting to take any piccies & then cameraphone was playing up, so didn't even bother trying
Janner Vanner should have loads to post & I'm pretty sure someone was wandering around videoing.

Re: 2010 "Southern Softies"
Hey up!
Just got in.. Ian, ya laid on another blinder!!!
Was fantastic to see some of the Europe travelers again!
The Birmingham crowd..!
Great hospitality & company!
)
I was particularly touched by Bob's (Freewheeler's) gift!

I haven't been this moved to tears since the ending of the Terminator film... (You know the bit when he raises his thumb as he sinks into the molten metal.?)
John (Francophile); What a dude!
Teaches me all he knows about the noble art of bowls, & lets my team win!

A true Gent.

Talking of which, John's the easiest to match up to the avatar dressed in the trademark white over red!!

(But only on Saturday nights.)
Some field shots...

All in all a fantastic weekend!
Nice one!
