Decent fuel will sort most of that out after a couple of tankfuls anyway. Failing that, try retarding the ignition slightly.
) for the domestic market are mapped for 100 ron fuel at the factory as they have had higher octain fuel long before we got Optimax and the like, so all performance grey imports had to be remapped to run on 95ron or add a booster. Your Bongo might have been remapped in Japan to run on 100 ron but i dont see why?
