If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

This is a message from tigs as she can't get internet at the moment:-
Does anybody who is going to the SS know how to change a pole in a Khyam awning? She has got a new pole but can't work out how to change it #-o . She is planning to do a day visit on the Saturday but can book an overnight stay if necessary.

I'm sure if a few of us put our heads together we can sort it.

Unless we go Off Topic of course.

I don't know if you need to change the main pole, but I found THIS LINK which may help.

Sorry about the delay.
Dead easy - there is a button on the plastic joining thingy. Press the button and pull the pole out.

 I hope you can run fast!!!

Okay, i now think i know why theres no button, cos theres 2 types of easy erect poles and mine has to have the whole thing replaced, rather than a section. Which means the central hub does have to come off, so am guessing its the instructions on the kyham link.

So i would very very grateful for help, as i am unable to do it alone.

Hi all
We are stuck across the Pond, having had a scenic short flight across Canada which then returned us to Chicago. At the moment we are booked on a return flight for Friday night which means I have had to cancel our pitch (have emailed Ian to let him know).

We are very disappointed as this would have been our 2nd Bongo Bash (tough Northerns was the induction) and it is Maddy's birthday on Sunday. BUT it does save you all singing Happy Birthday to her.

I hope the sun shines and the wine flows for you.

See you all at the National Bash (subject to Acts of God!)

We still have alot of loose ends to tie up an the weekend coming is our best chance to do this.
I was hoping we would of had all things sorted, but sods law has stepped in again!

I too am stuck in Spain, my flight has been rebooked from last Tuesday to 23.50 on Sunday, so sadly will miss the SS and I was so much looking forwrd to it and the weather looks so good and ....and ... Still maybe someone who was left out for lack of space may now be able to go in our place.
Hopefuly will see you all at the National.
