top up oil

Possibly a stupid question (new female Bongo owner !!) is there any special oil I should top up with or can I use any oil for diesels ?

You need oil that is suitable for turbo diesel engines. 5W-30 is the recommended viscosity, but I use 10W-40 with no problems - it's what most garages use 8)

Best not to mix oils if you can avoid it, some don't go too well with other brands. Worth getting a bit extra at oil change time. :wink:

Make sure it says it's suitable for turbo deisels.
