diagram of how front bumper is attached

Post by Bombadilo » Mon Mar 29, 2010 3:51 pm

hello folks,

some idiot let their hire-van handbrake off today and gave my front bumper a shunt sideways.

it needs realigning, the dent needs removing and a respray.

could anyone post a pic or diagram showing how the bumper needs to be removed ?

pics of the brackets would be useful so i can see what will need to be straightened.

i've got a '98 tin top 2.5TD auto.

thanks in advance

We wear skirts up here sometimes Max but we call them Kilts. Not that I have ever seen Kirsty in a skirt.

Sorry - what did the bugger bet you?

ADAMD could use your genius and wisdom over on his block decking thread - he wants to know how to stick his new pipe in the block without getting a leak, and also how to do his valve/tappet clearances. Bet you wished you'd never bothered DIYing your own head now
