Fuel Filter

Post by Mark Norton » Mon Mar 15, 2010 4:37 pm

When screwing the plastic sender in to the bottom of the new fuel filter the thread has stripped! This was due to the new filter not having enough depth inside the bottom of it to allow the plastic sender to screw all the way in, thus straining and stripping the plastic thread which was in a poor state anyway.
Question is what is the plastic sender called and where to get a new one?

Don't know what it's called but, if you ring any of the breakers that advertise on this site, they'll know what you mean.
Also, there's a couple of Bongos being broken by ebygum32 and tonic - try sending them a PM.
