Hi. Am a bongo newbie and only had mine a few months. It's a great addition to the family and recently been in for timing belt and underseal. However, over the last couple of days, noticed that when braking and also when pulling off from holding it stationary on the foot brake, there is a drawn out groan / creak seemingly comming from the rear driver side corner.
Seems to occur as the braking takes effect and until the car some to a stand still. When you realease the foot brake and as the bongo tries to pull away from being hekd on the foot brake. It's loud enough even for the kids to notice it!
Also started noticing the same noise when turning right hand corners. It's a 96 P reg 2.5TD 4WD. Don't think it is suspension as not occuring on any speed bumps.
Any one experienced similiar?
Thanks

Something jammed in the pad? or delamination maybe? get the brakes checked out first, a lot of the tyre places'll do a free check, but I'd avoid the hard sell high street type

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Mine did that for a while.
Now I make the mother in law take the bus to the shops, it seems sorted.

Could also be a broken Anti roll bar bracket, difficult to see unless it's up on ramps, but the sympotms don't sound quite right for that.
