Inverter - last job on the list

Post by thedogsbollox » Sun Mar 14, 2010 8:27 pm

I am going to relocate my inverter to behind the glove box. At the moment it is just above my left foot while driving(don't ask)
is there a way through to the under bonnet area from there? I am assuming also that I would be better to hook it to the liesure battery and not the cranking right?

There's a great big rubber grommeted hole up behind there that you could push another Bongo through, from memory

I have my inverter mounted up there - excellent tip from Dandywarhol =D>

You can take it through behind the glove box, theres a big rubber grommet jobby you can punch a hole through with a screwdriver & feed through to the LB, comes out behind the expansion tank & yes, I'd connect to the LB.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Much better to connect to the LB that way you won't run your main battery flat while parked up.
