Accessing instrument panel

Post by Truant » Wed Mar 10, 2010 9:16 pm

Hi All,
I am going to install a parking sensor kit and wanted to mount the visual display behind the perspex on the instrument panel. Does anyone know how easy it is to get into this area (i.e. where the speedo /rev counter is etc?
Cheers

Pretty easy - unscrew the 4 screws you can see in the binnacle surround looking from underneath, drop the steering wheel to it's lowest setting, & manouevre it out the way http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html , you should be able to see what's what from that point http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Hi Kirsty,
That's really helpful - thanks heaps. The diagrams make it really clear.

No worries, probably easier to see from the piccy than try to explain
