do the horns operate through a relay

i have just purchased some nice duo tone air horns ,which need to be operated through a relay, are the existing horns running through a relay, in which case i need not fit the relay which came with the new horns.

Can't recall, but if you unplug the horn & something clicks when you press the button then you have got one. I just used the feed to the old horn to run a new relay on a seperate fused feed frome the main battery.

There is a group of relays behind the offside headlight, one of them is for the horn :wink:

Yes, you don't say what type and it varies;
the circuit

and the location of the relay (note it shows two positions for F3-03 depending on type);
