maximum tyre width ?

Im looking at various tyre / wheel combinations.
What is the maximum width that fits comfortably on a 4WD Bongo with 18" wheels, 225 or 235 ?

245's on the right height ratio.

Yep

Absolutely massive (if you could afford them) on a 10J wheel

but probably mean changing from a 3 point to a 10 point turn

I was reading that as How Wide A Tyre Before It Starts Rubbing The Front Arches

245s are right on the limit, aren't they?

Its going to depend on the offset as well.
RX8's with 245/45/18 are OK if that helps.
