Re: oil change
I get one fine using 5W/30 semi-synthetic (usually Halfords brand but have bought it cheaper elsewhere) for my 2.5TD diesel. Costco are supposed to have good stuff cheap but I don't have a card.ribbleman wrote:hi all, Time to change oil, have been using castrol magnatec 10/ 40 for last 3 years need to find cheaper oil any recommendations?.

PS - have you got a Pela pump to do the job - makes it a lot cleaner and easier if you suck old oil out through the dipstick rather than removing sump plug (and it gets all oil out no problem). Well worth spending the £s for the convenience. This one's v. well priced:
