Rear Window Washer Hose

Post by mcbainia » Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:08 am

Morning folks,

My rear window washers had frozen over the weekend with the cold weather and the hose that connects the main body of the van to the rear door has snapped in 2. Does anyone know where to source one of these ? And is it simple to fit ?

Also, does anyone have any tips on how to insulate this length of pipe so that it wont happen again ?

Thanks

I'd have thought any washer hose'd do, or ask Ebygum32 or Tonic on here that're breaking bongos. You won't be able to insulate it, but if you put a high concentration antifreeze screen wash in your bottle & make sure it's pumped all the way through the system, that should stop it happening again. bear in mind these're built to run in much colder temperatures than the uk.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

if you mean the little plastic bit that joins the 2 rubber pipes ( i've had 3 bongos and they have all broke there) then you can get them from b+q or halfords... less then a quid...
