Vin number

Post by bobnpat98 » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:20 am

Hi, I am a fairly new Bongo owner and am still trying to find my way round it without a full manual. In trying to gather info to order parts I am struggling to determine the exact birth date of our Bongo. When I visited the Russian site through the club link and entered the only info I have - SGL32***** - it did not come up with any info.
Is this the vehicle Vin number? If not where can I locate it or the chassis number? This SGL number is listed as the Vin/Chassis/Frame No in the Registration Cert.
Any help would be appreciated. :D Bongobob.

The VIN number is on the plate inside the passenger door. The paint code is there too.

Russian website appears to be down at the moment. I know mine works in there but I was going to re-enter it so that I could tell you whether it needs spaces or not.
