FRONT HEATER FAN

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THE FRONT HEATER FAN IS LOCATED AND HOW IT CAN BE IDENTIFIED AND GOT AT MINES NOT WORKING CHECKED FUSES ETC STEVE CHESHIRE

Hi Steve the heater is located under the bonnet its towards the passenger side
I NOW HAVE AN ASTRA JUST THE BONGO TO FIND A NEW HOME THEN I AM OUT OF HERE

Lift the air scoop off and the fan is under the scoop, gently push it see if it moves.
Lost without my Bongo.

Replaced mine, £50 from "Need a Part" second hand.
Remove plastic intake, then the square intake box under that and you'll see the fan underthat. If the fan still works on full power only, then its probabaly the resistor that needs replacing. That is a little aluminium finned cube. Its central under the bonnet behind the fuse box under a black plastic cover. its fitted upside down and not immediately visible, 2 screws to undo and take out.

Or if you click on my link to the FAQ, you can fix the fan & resistor pack for nowt :wink:
