Are your friends Bongo Fury members? - the official meets are for members only and membership number must be quoted when booking.
:? Bit harsh John,
it may of been a tad nicer just to say they may need to book direct with the camp
and perhaps get as close to the bongo field as poss, But Hey Ho!

Wasn't meant to be Graham  - just thought it might save them being told when ringing up to book.

I've got the option of more pitches if needed, so no need to panic. Phone Tuesday morning, once the remaining 7 places are gone, I will start a waiting list, then get additional places from site.

I'm not booking in, no plans for camping meets for a couple of months at least, I'll probably pop over on the saturday afternoon/evening if it's allowed

Morning. It is very awkward to actually put down in writing "expressions" isn't it? What may have sounded like a piece of friendly advice by the author, turns out to be what seems a "bit harsh".

Same thing happens with emails. I think that is why the "Smiley" was invented to soften the blow......or to strengthen the meaning. :?

Ah yes, the mystery of the English language.
It was so much simple to understand the quill and parchment message sent to which was meant, as opposed to the cold font of the typed word in the form of the various technology's used for it's conveyance.
Such use of said gadgetry can strip the authors thought to the bare bone, leaving just cold emotionless words to the eye of the recipient.

Still, it makes it a lot easier to dump a woman by text!

I forgot until lunchtime, and missed out. But Ian is apparently booking more spots. If all else fails, I'll book privately, but don't tell Ian.
