speedo reading

My speedo appears to be about 5 mph out :shock: can anyone recommend somewhere i could have it re-calibrated?

215 65 15 (cheapo maxxis that came with it) on steel wheels front and rear.

it's a 4x4 diesel auto ('98)

I just popped the needle off (teaspoon as a lever, metal bit as a fulcrum) & repositioned it, bit fiddly, took a couple of goes, but it's now spot on with GPS. Have you checked your mile/km counter to see how close it is to GPS measured distance?

no i'll give that a go I have a garmin gps unit i'll try with that as probably more reliable than my tom tom :shock:.
