Front Wiper Assembly

Post by xander » Fri Jan 22, 2010 5:26 pm

Hello, I am looking for some help in the wiper department. :?:

During the recent snow downfall, the snow/ice in the roof slide forward, whilst the wipes were on intermitten, this dislodged the nearside wiper blade which was retrieved but now the wipers do not work, I can hear the wiper motor running with no movement of the arms.

Is the arm linkage attached to the motor via a spline in which case could the spline be stripped meaning a new motor is called for, or is there another explaination?

Thanks, Alex

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
