Heavy thud like noise!

Hi,

On our way back from a stag do today i had the van full up with 6 blokes and their gear and noticed a noisy thug like noise when hitting a corner or a little bump in the road. The van has been lowered and has Mazda speed shocks but have had the van pretty well laiden with people and stuff before and not noticed any banging. The noise was definitely coming from the rear of the van, but does anyone know what might have gone to cause this. I can only imagine it is a suspension like problem as after everyone had got out the thud noise dissappeared?

Any suggestions would be great!

Heavy load....rear end hitting the suspension stops.....quite normal....
you can uprate the suspension if it bothers you

Yep big fat bums on small thin springs = bumpy ride,lol.

also check if you are not missing the bump stops on the axle.(half round thingys )

I suggest you don't give thugs a lift in future Especially noisy ones!
