Top radiator hose. Any compatable/ universal ones?

Post by yellowjohnboy » Tue Jan 12, 2010 7:35 pm

Are there any radiator hoses that are compatable with the top radiator hose on the bongo?
It's just that it would be quicker to get one from my local Halfords or car spares shop if possible,
as it's rather urgent.
Thanks in advance.

No, nothing compatible as far as we are aware. If you phone us in the morning (0114-2550836) we can get one to you for Thursday morning.

You can get somthing called flexihose......bends to any shape and dispite what some peeps say can be a permanant soloution.....I carry a 1 meter length which will replace any 2 of the big 4 hoses.....Kit car builders use the stuff all the time.

look on fleabay for silicone sets, cost about the same as factory/slightly less and are much more durable than OE

It's probably worth pointing out that whatever hose you buy - flexi, silicon or other, check the quality as it can vary. :) There are recommendations on this thread and on the forum.
