There is no electric hook up and the showers/toilets might be a bit of a trek but the field is right next the lake so we can all wake up to the lovely view :D Fingers crossed this comes off so everyone can come [-o<

Is this meet full up, or does the chance of a different site increase the chance of a place? I thought I'd replied to this ages ago and then realised when it kept updating it wasn't in my 'View your posts' bit, so i obviously didn't! #-o
Anyway, if there is still room we would love to join you all. :)

Hi, If there's space we would love to join you all at Windermere in May 2010, where-ever the meet may end up. Weve been promising ourselves a trip to the Lakes for ages and this may turn out to be our first Bongo camping weekend! :D

Evening all. Just a quick update. This meet will definitely be going ahead as originally planned at HILL OF OAKS as the other site is a non-starter.
There are still only 20 pitches available so unfortunately I can't accomodate everyone :( I will post up again Feb/March time to confirm everything and we'll see who's able to come. I'm sorry to those of you who may miss out :(

Well done for trying your best Di, if we're not on the lucky list its not the end of the world, we'll see everyone sometime this year and we'll still speak to you, might "accidentally" spill a drink on you though, but we will still speak to you

I reckon you ARE on the lucky list. My previous calculations seem wrong now :? and it would seem you are No. 20. Whoop whoop congratulations!!!
As for spilling the drink, you've lost me  did you spill one on me or vice versa? I'm thinking you're talking about Allithwaite. Was it Crabs? :-k I have a vague recollection but I think you need to fill in the blanks for me

Looking forward to this one Di and tell us when you want the £ posting. Thanks+++ for organising it. Last years Snowdon Bash (MM) and your Hill of Oaks one, were major highlights of the year for me and Will. Roll on Spring [-o<

Deep joy -thanks for reminding me. We were so lucky with the weather in Wales (in March!) once the Friday night gale had blown through. And Windermere and the walk we went on up Gummers How, and the beach BBQ, was just magic.
