Hi just joined as recently brought a bongo, and not posted yet but this eve noticed a hold light has come on the dash, not flashing ? why.

you've probably pushed the hold button by mistake on the gear change.

same thing happened to me but that was after owning my bongo for 8 months drove gingerly for a few miles till I found a safe place to pull over to consult the handbook ( a must ) relief when I read what the function was. Colin

It's easily done "catching" the hold button whilst reaching into the dash centre cubby...The button can be activated/de-activated on the move at any speed. The ECU in the bongo won't allow the hold function to operate outside the operating parameters, (i.e. it won't "hold" and downshift whilst doing 90MPH!)
