my side door was working perfectly until last night.........now as far as i can tell it is unlocking but it is jammed solidly in place....could the auto close be holding it shut????? if so how do i de-activate it ???? i love my bongo ....didn't want a two seater

Welcome to the forum.

A well known problem ! There is a factsheet in the Members area, see Top centre if you haven't yet had a chance to join. All though its free this month - so make the most of it!

Also several threads like this one, but a search will find plenty of posts like this. The key thing with the Big Thump approach is knowing the RIGHT place !

:) cheers for the info shall have a thump or two on Sunday work keeps getting in the way when things like this happen........heres hoping it will be an easy fix :? :?

well 2 hours getting covered in the black goo and no closer yet.......shall try a bigger hammer

i have found the bigger the hammer the better :shock:
I NOW HAVE AN ASTRA JUST THE BONGO TO FIND A NEW HOME THEN I AM OUT OF HERE
