Metalic squealing noise-ish

Post by Lewy » Sat Dec 12, 2009 6:51 pm

An intermitent quite sharp bearing gone bad sound - I thought it was belts at first but opened window and heard it bouncing off a wall as I went past. If I keep power on but tap the brakes it seems to go away. Only noticed it over the last few days, so no doubt it will develop but if any one has got any ideas?

My thoughts at mo - wheel bearing, brake pad sticking on, something caught between pad and disc?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as ever. Thanks

I'd go with the brake pads, when were they last changed?
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
