I'd have thought so too, but mine doesn't have a tell-tale for the front fogs (factory fitted - I think) & no problems with MOT's yet......
No probs with our MOT pass last week, either on the front or after market rear arangement. but I did have to get a new number plate with bigger numbers on it  (even although it passed last year :!:   )
Hi,EXTRA lights on the front of a vehicle are not part of the Mot test.

I didn't refer to the MOT - just that I think all fog lights should have a tell tale.

SFAIK all factory fitted front foglights (on cars for the UK market) have a telltale either on the switch or in the dash display - they have had on all cars I've had with them as standard.

As the Bongo was never (officially) supplied to the UK market that would not apply.

It would be nice if there was a legal requirement for a device that allows the only to work if there is really a fog!
The first trial of said device to be carried out on hot hatchbacks registered to under 25s.

I do nearly all my night driving in well lit suburbs and on wet nights I yearn for the reintroduction of "dim dip" which was an extremely civilised and considerate invention which provided ilumination of the full headlamp area, enough to alert others of your presence without glare.

I could easily see a mouse running across the road under sodium light and with approaching cars on dim dips but faced with full strength dipped lights and often foglights as well I wonder if I would see a pedestrian in a navy blue gabardine mac?
My schoolmates idolised Biggles, I wanted to be Alcock & Brown
They flew, I took up naturism

Hear, Hear.

I think it should be legal to dip their lights for them - permanently using a crow bar.

I travelled back up the M.11 yesterday in heavyish rain and a fair number of drivers seem to think that such weather conditions require the use of a full quota of "fog"lights.
