Yes, that did not escape my attention puring parade Dabs. I'm concerned that standards in the Bongo Regiment may be slipping, morale getting a little lax. You know how it is when the troops have spent too much time at the front, away from the warm centre console of a loving Bongo. They get a bit slapdash. Well I think we need to nip this in the bud (Eeeeeeeeeeeeek - woops, sorry matronDabs wrote:
You will notice on the piccies that at least one Bongo Mine bothered to put its roof up

Next time, I shall be checking closely to see that everyone has theirs up. If anyone needs needs a hand to do that, I'm sure matron can lend one (usually her left one, thats the firmest)

Re: Pre-Christmas day meet at Pennington Flash Sunday 6th Dec
Firstly well done to YBB for organising !!
We had an excellent time at our first meet and although understandably a little nervous at first, we were quickly made to feel very welcome by everyone, so thanks to all of you for that
It was really good for us to have a look round all your vehicles, to get ideas for our own and also glad we had something of a little interest ourselves, with our two small top cupboards
Look forward to seeing you all again soon

Well done Carl (YBB). Well worth the trip down from the far north to see the old gang of NW 'old timers' plus loads of newbies.
From Muz's piccies you can spot me drooling over the 2004 bongo. It meets all the specs laid down for a future bongo. All I need to do now is to find the dosh. Thanks to BDC & Steve from Wheelquick for organising this eye opener.
Sorry I couldn't stay longer I left at 12.10 and was home at 1.30 in Grange...a good run. Spent the afternoon watching the Santa parade in Kirby Lonsdale and having a go on the 'traditional' fairground including the big wheel then on to Lancaster to visit Liz in hospital. She is being transferred shortly to Kendal for intensive rehab which is fab news.
One of my best days for months. Thanks again everyonr for making it special.
See some of you at next week's bongo Xmas dinner
cheers

Looks like another great North West day meet, sorry we couldn't be there, me and Dot spent the day doing housework and cooking for my parents who aren't to good these days.
One picture had me worried though, there's DBO's, Dabs, and a silver Bongalow, at first glance I though 'The Oldest Bongo In Town' had sneaked off to the meet without us whilst we were busy!!. Who's is it?
I agree Mike, standards are slipping, only one roof raised isn't good enough.
