Well that box on top of drivers dash is indeed a headlight sensor!!
just tried in the dark lights again came on as soon as ignition was turned on regardless of stalk position,
Pressed button on top of box and they work only from stalk control,
Thats why I thought there was a problem with lights working indepentantly of stalk control.
SO MY ONLY PROBLEM IS NO FULL BEAM WHEN STALK PUSHED FORWARD.
AS STATED NO PROBLEM WITH FLASH/PASS MAIN BEAM.
SO IS IT THE STALK SWITCH?
AND IF SO ANY HELP WITH STEERING WHEEL AND AIRBAG REMOVAL WOULD BE NICE

Re: HEADLIGHTS
Well thanks to info from Geoff(g8dne) and John(francophile1947) got there in the end SORTED!!
that box on top of dash is a headlight sensor and automatically turns your lights on when dark enough(button on top to turn system off if not needed.
Was'nt able to fit the complete stalk unit as my spare had an extra single multi plug also the original had extra wires, so used the bit I needed nothing a tie-rap or tape could'nt sort.
Thanks again for the help it was much needed.
cheers TEZ
