If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Definitely are (or have been) - have a search using keywords to see who you turn up.

Funnily enough I found myself pulling into the retail park nr Altrincham on Sunday behind a blue 4WD Freda Weekender and parking next to it. The owner was a young guy who had his mountain bike in the back. He's not been on here before, though he did meet several BF nutters at the last Tatton Park gathering he told me so knows about us. I told him to get on here and make some contacts esp. if he needs advice (he had a Mazda kitchen in the back but is thinking about a proper conversion). I also recommended he fit a low coolant alarm before rather than after........

Present SUR :!: quite a lot of decent riding round here  (but don't tell anybody  ) The Scottish bash is in Dunfries next spring, pretty well placed for Ae, Mabie, Dalbeatie, Drumlanrigg and Kiroughtree (spelling?) Could be a plan?

Dates and location for the Scottish bash are 14 to 16 May 2010, Brighouse Bay Holiday Park, Borgue, Dumfries & Galloway DG6 4TS (details of bookings and prices etc in the members area, or I'm sure Iain would 'fill you in' if you contact him at bongo mission control) All the 7 stanes sites in the Dunfries and Galloway area are within easy reach of the site. (bongo bash and decent mountain biking....does it get any better   )

Dalby forest, Nr Scarborough has a good track by the looks of it. Had a quick butchers at summer. Also there is a campsite right on the edge if folks fancied camping. There is plenty of parking up there which is very close to the track and a huge play area combined with fitted Bar B Ques. I think it was £7.00 for the day to enter the forest and that was per vehicle not person. Not sure if there is an additional charge for the cycling. It would be worth checking out. Just a suggestion. Others located up that way will know more than me.

Hi All,

Lots of comments about Dalby Forest on here just for Info in case you dontknow they have been awarded one of the European stages of the 2010 Mountain Bike World Cup.

Im pretty sure the event is on the 24th/25th April but if your into Mountain Biking etc that could be a good time of year to head that way as there will be loads going on!

Just a thought........... :D :D
