I know Kirsty. But if you have everything transfered to your leisure battery then this will not only turn off the stero but also prevent the leisure battery from running down due to other causes such as faulty interior lights. It seems a quick fix to me and a bit more useful. all the same it will be more convenient to have a switch on the stero eventually.
