Virtually no water in the header tank - hole in the Rad

Anyone in the Leeds area have one I can put on in the morning? It's my weekend to see my kids in the lakes, and it's not looking good

Thanks, Ian.fatcatlawyer wrote:I was able to buy a rad from a place in between Rotherham and Doncaster, saw his advert on evilbay! Dont know how close to you that is. Brinsworth I think was the town. He had a pretty good stock. Not too expensive either. About £130. Fitting took 3 hours following the very helpfull fact sheet.

I bought the Bongo with a leaking Rad, and changed it for a second-hand one last year. Fitting, as you say, was no problem.
Mr Monkey has pointed me towards a possible local source, I'll give them a call next week.
I phoned Northern Radiators this eve, who were the cheapest on evil-bay, but wasn't impressed.
When I asked for a price on the phone, he asked me which advert I'd seen.
I replied "the cheapest advert" ... he wouldn't give me a price until I mentioned ebay.
He then said that even if I collected it, I would have to pay the delivery charge![]()
Sharp practice ?
