Willinton Kit. (Split charge relay kit).

Post by dave_aber » Tue Nov 03, 2009 5:27 pm

On Sunday I bought a Willinton kit on ebay. It was sent off on Monday, into postal strike delay britain. Just picked it up fro the local post office this aternoon.

Looks like a bit of luck getting through the backlog.

Then I unwrapped the kit.

Wow. What a well made, and well packaged kit. Well worth the money.

Hope it works as well as it looks. No doubt that it will though.

I have one of his first MK1 kits, slightly different to the newer one but does the same, I was well impressed with the quality especially for the money 8)

Ok ...I expect there might be a lot of people reading forum that think the same as me..."What is a Willinton kit :?: :?: ".

There I have put myself on a spot for being dumb but couldn't help it. Curious that's all.

Cheers.

Well thanks for that, much appreciated. Knew it would be a "TECHNICAL" term but thought it might be a kit for testing specific gravity of a beer making kit.

Cheers.

I think its an area of Bristol. Can't remember if that's where his address is, but he's definitely in Bristol.

Ah ha! :) I was thinking it might be an 'ebay' name. Although I did search on ebay for 'willinton kit' it brought up 'womble wellingtons'.

I think his address is Willinton Road or street.

just fitted the kit. Very easy. Good instructions. Took some photos, but TBH it's been covered well before, and the ebay auction has all the pictures you need really.

He tends to build kits during the week, and stick them on ebay on Sundays, so that's the best time to find them.

I purchased one of his kits a couple of weeks ago, was very impressed with the quality and ease of fitting with full fitting instructions included.

well worth it.
