Glow Plug recommendation....

Post by boyfrombrasil » Wed Oct 21, 2009 7:28 pm

Ok. I know that I can get a list of glow plugs available for our 1996 SGL3 but I want to know peoples opinions about the quality of Glow Plugs available before I pay some garage lots of my money to fit some I buy.

I had a set fitted just over a year ago and they have failed already so can others put their experiences of the types they have used and how long they have lasted.

Looking forward to your answers...

This has come up loads of times, go for the NGK's, cheapies/no names just don't seem to last, a few have fallen apart, could end up being very expensive
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
