Mirror control Panel Illumination

Post by Ben1400 » Fri Oct 09, 2009 4:38 pm

I have searched the forums but found nothing about this, does the mirror control panel holding the door mirror fold & adjust switches have illumination. If so how do you get to the lamps to change them. I didn't want to break things only to find out there wasn't any in the first place!. Thanks in advance, Barry.

Pretty certain it doesn't, or at least mine doesn't light up.

I know where Ben is coming from with this... I'm loathe of inoperative dash/switch lights too, regardless of how often (if ever) i need the lights or not. It bugged me for ages that the actual hazard light switch doesn't flash when the hazards are in operation (i thought the bulb had gone, turned out the switch simply doesn't flash).

I can see the point of having the mirror controls illuminate in the bongo, for folding the mirrors when you park up at night. :D
