Mirror control Panel Illumination
I have searched the forums but found nothing about this, does the mirror control panel holding the door mirror fold & adjust switches have illumination. If so how do you get to the lamps to change them. I didn't want to break things only to find out there wasn't any in the first place!
. Thanks in advance, Barry.

No light on mine either (just checked) just have to fumble in the dark
but if they are set right in daylight why would you want to move them in the dark??????

Re: Mirror control Panel Illumination
I know where Ben is coming from with this... I'm loathe of inoperative dash/switch lights too, regardless of how often (if ever) i need the lights or not. It bugged me for ages that the actual hazard light switch doesn't flash when the hazards are in operation (i thought the bulb had gone, turned out the switch simply doesn't flash).aitch wrote:No light on mine either (just checked) just have to fumble in the dark![]()

I can see the point of having the mirror controls illuminate in the bongo, for folding the mirrors when you park up at night.

Thank you all very much for the rapid replies, don't think I will bother taking it to bits now

Re: Mirror control Panel Illumination
I pulled mine apart once... In the name of pimping of course!!
I can tell you it's not meant to light up. Though i have inadvertently up light mine with the led i used to back light my window switch...
